Making Christmas Brighter for Those Who Might Be Overlooked
The Christmas Giving Project began as a tradition between my dad and me. Throughout the year, we would set money aside so that when Christmas came, we could use it to help people who might otherwise go without. What started as something simple became a tradition rooted in kindness, dignity, and making sure people knew they had not been forgotten.
As Christmas approached, I would use the money we had saved to buy food and gifts for people in need. I bought turkeys and all the fixings for Christmas dinner, and there were times when I cooked the meals myself and delivered them. It was never about doing something elaborate—it was about helping make Christmas a little warmer for someone who needed it.
Christmas Kindness Has No Age Limit
Children are often at the heart of Christmas giving, but they aren’t the only ones who can feel forgotten during the holidays. The Christmas Giving Project is meant to remember the whole household—children, parents, grandparents, and other adults who may be struggling. I also want to remember seniors, including those living in nursing homes, who may be facing Christmas without family nearby or anyone thinking to include them.
What the Christmas Giving Project Can Provide
The help provided through The Christmas Giving Project may look different from year to year depending on the needs of the people being helped and the resources available. It can include groceries for a Christmas dinner, prepared holiday meals, gifts for children and adults, thoughtful items for seniors, and other practical needs that can help make the Christmas season a little brighter.
Carrying the Tradition Forward
The Christmas Giving Project is my way of carrying forward the tradition my dad and I started together. As Wholesome Moments 4 You grows, my hope is to grow this project with it—reaching more people, providing more Christmas meals and gifts, and continuing to make sure that people who might otherwise be overlooked know that someone thought about them at Christmas.
How the Project Is Funded
Wholesome Moments 4 You is a mission-driven business. Income from the products I create and sell helps the business grow while also helping build the funds needed for The Christmas Giving Project. As those resources grow, my hope is to provide Christmas food, meals, gifts, and other meaningful assistance to more people who may otherwise go without during the holiday season.
Transparency Matters
As The Christmas Giving Project grows, I want the people who support Wholesome Moments 4 You to be able to see the difference that support helps make. I plan to share honest updates about the people and communities helped, the food and gifts purchased, and how the project’s resources are being used.
Wholesome Moments 4 You is a mission-driven business and is not currently a nonprofit organization. Purchases and financial support should not be considered tax-deductible charitable donations.
Making Sure Someone Is Remembered
Sometimes the greatest gift at Christmas is simply knowing that someone remembered you. Whether it is a warm meal, groceries for Christmas dinner, a gift chosen with care, or a small act of kindness, The Christmas Giving Project is about helping people feel seen, valued, and remembered during a season when no one should feel forgotten.
